30 Day Challenge – Day 22

Day 22 – Sunshine, sunsets, dance parties and food

Our days have been full (warning:  this is the “wish you were here” post). We’ve had amazing weather, beautiful and sunny days, cools and breezy nights and lots of quality time (though sometimes the quality came with some fighting).

We spent today celebrating Memorial Day at the beach and pool.  I even went into the gulf with Miss Arden.  I really don’t care for bodies of water in which you cannot see the bottom, but I made an exception when the look of longing on my 7 year old’s face became more than I could take.

We ended the day with a fabulous dinner on the deck of Sloppy Joes.  The girls got fruity drinks in real coconuts. The drive home was full of giggles and singing as we cranked the radio and car danced all the way back to the condo.

All in all a really fun day and  really do wish you all had a slice of lazy day vacation on this day off.  While I might not wish you were all HERE exactly, I hope you spent the day with loved ones and had a lot of laughs in the process.

Tomorrow is the day the girls have been squealing for all week – Busch Gardens!  Woohoo!  The temperature is supposed to be in the high 90s with about that level of humidity, so I’m sure we will all be at our most pleasant selves about 1 hour into the adventure – but here’s hoping we can hang onto the moments and enjoy the fun.

Only a few days left here on vacation and of this 30 day challenge.  Thankfully, for y’all, we will be home a few days before the end of this and I will have room in my brain to write about something other than fun in the sun.
